EAST ISLAND WOODSHOP

We started East Island Woodshop knowing that it was important to use sustainable, locally sourced wood in the products We would design. We began by designing and making some pieces from sustainable Douglas Fir and created a range of wine racks. We then came up with the idea or re-purposing old whiskey and wine barrels. It is very enjoyable to open an old whiskey barrel and work on the beautiful white oak that is so full of character and aroma. Using this rustic wood, We have designed and handcrafted a number of pieces that We hope will enhance the enjoyment of your home for many years to come.
